I love Betsey because she is a dare-devil in fashion. She makes no apologies for who she is or what she creates. Granted some of her pieces can’t be worn on all body types ( mine included) but most accentuate the best parts of a woman. She brings back pieces that were once popular over the 40 years she has been designing, she creates trends. 

Everyone loves her, she is corky, beautiful, fun and full of life. Just watching her speak you can see the passion in her eyes. A lot of designers loose focus when they make it big but Betsey hasn’t. She still works nearly everyday in her Studio along side her employees. She is dedicated to making woman feel important and beautiful.

When i see her bright red lips and blonde hair i see a person who i want to be like. She is fearless and makes no excuses, she is Betsey Johnson. She is lovely. Hopefully someday we will cross paths but until then i will look up to her as a role model.

She reminds us that fashion doesn’t have to be serious, it can be fun and colorful. Yes, life is full of tragedy but if we cover it with X’s & O’s it will be okay.

She is a Breast Cancer Survivor, My mother is one too. You have to be an amazingly strong woman to go thru so a horrible disease. But it doesn’t let that stop them, you fight and continue on.

Plus, I want to be able to do a cartwheel in my 60’s<3
